Painting!

Ok, I am going to paint next year. I am going to give myself some points for items painted and we shall see how all that goes. too much stuff on the shelves!

Khador hits the table

As is my idiom...

I bought some Khador minis the other day after playing a couple rounds with some friends recently. I have had WarMachine stuff since it came out back in the day but mainly was a Cygnar man. But I hated how the jacks got overwhelmed by the infantry heavy army. So stopped playing. Then Hordes came out and I like it a lot better. Got a Circle army going.

Then just stopped and moved on to other things for a while.

Now MKII Warmachine and Hordes are in full swing. So I looked at it all again and I will play some. I am going to sell or trade off my Cygnar jacks and stuff and get Khador stuff to replace it. I really like the Iron Fang Pike and Uhlan units.

Still have 1810 French to do, and 1940 French to do, and 1944 US to do, and on and on. Oh well, at least I have something to do..

Early French

I got myself 18 Somuas last week or so from Treefort and Old Glory. Actually nice little castings. Going to basecoat them soon for my early war French armored force. They will be:

2e DLM (2nd Light Mechanized Division)
3e BLM (3rd Light Mechanized Brigade)
13e Dragon (13th Dragoons armored cavalry regiment)

Cool...

Arise my legions

I am working with actually casting some of my items I printed from Shapeways ( www.shapeways.com )! I am excited! I have some mech figures that are itching to get on the table. I will be using Alumilite as the material so here we go! I have grand plans of casting a lot of mechs. I have 4 body styles and 10 different weapons that can go on 4 hardpoints on each body. So a lot, lot of combinations can occur. Excited!

Flames of War - Early French

Working with Treefort to get 18 Somua S35's for my early war French Flames of War army. I will be using the Command Decision line of equipment for this army. 17 tanks and 4-25mm AT guns and crews is 1845 points.

Random thoughts

Going to head to Treefort Games this afternoon to pick up the new WHFB starter set. Got to work on the 15mm ACW figs for a game we will be running in a couple weeks. And I saw a new mech game on the web today http://www.techcommandergame.com/. Love me some big stompy robots!

Malifaux

I am really getting into Malifaux. I am building an arcanist army around Rasputina first but Colette and the show girls have my eye. Stay tuned for some Malifaux action!
